The Dawson Conversation
Sully: "Moyesy...been trying all over Europe for you - all those names you gave me while you were sick - tried really hard, 24 hours a day, but none of them would do a deal...they always wanted another 3 to 5 million more than we'd offer! But...listen here...Will's been on the phone and he can get this lad Dawson in. Loads of Prem experience...decent stats on Whoscored...little kick back for me (and maybe you)...and he's CHEAP! Plus we're keeping clean sheets now so wouldn't he make a great 5th choice backup...and we can save Grady's money for a rainy day...i'll even get that cheap QPR left back Manning in to sweeten things...whadddaya say Moyesie?!"

Moyes:"Fuck sake Mr Chairman. What do you need me to say?"

Sully:"Just tell the fans he's got great pedigree and you wanted experience...and I'll give you another year if we stay up."

Moyes:"Done".

Sully:"Lovely stuff...I'll let Will know!"

Just read this back and couldnt be less funny, but had typed it now so fuck it!

Mods...lock this shit!

Re: The Dawson Conversation
Well Cook has the right agent at least - would cost more than Dawson.

If Cook joined there would be an argument that he should be 1st choice alongside Ogbonna and Cresswell (Cresswell role being a bit unique in the amount he gets forward and influences the play) which is no bad thing - backup players as squad fillers for the sake of it rarely works.

He's also at times covered RB and LB which in our small squad is no bad thing. On the face of it a better option than Dawson.

Re: The Dawson Conversation
Dawson not the best CB I Watford. In fact according the Transfermaket he's only the 9th best CB in the Championship NINTH!!!!!!. The best is Steve Cook and his contract is up at the end of the season plus he's younger the Dawson.

But no doubt we would sign the NINETH best CB in the Championship! F**k it!

Spot on.

Moyes should tell Sullivan No - I'm not accepting him.

Wasn't it Monteeth, aka blue eyed ugly old git who has been trying to get us to buy Dawson for years?
Perhaps he gets a brown envelope from Sullivan for providing the idea.

Re: The Dawson Conversation
Moyes could earn big respect if he refused to accept Dawson but the poison dwarf has left him with no choice I guess.

He certainly doesn't improve the team, just injury cover.

Who will rid us of this loathsome midget?

Players dont wont to come to westham, fans dont want to go to westham. Why, gsb hold the key. i think when we get rid of them, 15-20k of missing fans will return,we will have a plan,we just want the truth, 41 years now won fuckhall. gsb got the best deal ever with this ground and still want more.greed all round at our great club, fans only want a team trying to win every game i think the words we need hope, with these people we get none.dot get carried away with last two wins, it wont last.

We are all in the process of being broken by the club.

Stubbo wasn’t the first, and he won’t be the last.
